ReliveX is marketed as a wireless pain relief device designed to help people manage aches and discomfort without relying on traditional pain relief methods. It comes with gel pads that attach to the body, and the company promotes it as a convenient option for people looking for relief at home. At first glance, the idea sounds useful, especially for anyone dealing with regular muscle or joint discomfort.
However, after looking into the company, I found some complaints that are hard to ignore. The biggest problem is not necessarily whether the device works. It is the number of customers who say they were charged for products they did not order, struggled to cancel recurring payments, or had trouble getting refunds.
So, is ReliveX a company worth trusting? The customer complaints raise some serious questions.
What Is ReliveX and What Does It Sell?
ReliveX sells a wireless pain relief device that uses gel pads placed against the skin. The idea is to provide a convenient way to manage discomfort without having to deal with bulky equipment or complicated setups. The company targets people who want something they can use at home as part of their pain management routine.
The device is not the only thing buyers need to consider, though. It also comes with replacement gel pads, and this is where some of the complaints begin. Several customers say they were enrolled in recurring orders or charged for replacement pads when they believed they had made a one-time purchase.
That is a serious issue because someone buying a pain relief device should not have to worry about unexpected payments appearing on their bank statement later.
What Are People Complaining About?
ReliveX has a Trustpilot rating of around 4.1 stars from nearly 2,800 reviews. That is a fairly strong score on the surface, and there are customers who say they are happy with their purchases. Some appear satisfied with the device itself.
But the positive rating does not tell the entire story. When I looked beyond the overall score, I found repeated complaints about billing, subscriptions and refunds. These are not minor issues, especially when people are spending money on a product they bought because they wanted help with pain.
One complaint that stands out is the claim that customers were charged for replacement gel pads they did not knowingly order. Some buyers say they thought they were paying once for the device, only to discover that further payments were being taken from their accounts.
Other customers say they tried to cancel these orders but continued to experience charges. This is particularly frustrating because cancelling a recurring payment should not turn into a long battle with a company.
I also found complaints from people who wanted to return their devices but struggled to get their money back. Some reported being offered partial refunds or replacements instead of the full refund they expected. Others said they had returned their products but were still waiting for their money.
These reports make it difficult to recommend ReliveX without reservations. Even if some people like the device, customers should be able to understand exactly what they are paying for and cancel any recurring arrangement without unnecessary trouble.
ReliveX Has a Poor Record With the BBB
The complaints are not limited to individual review websites. ReliveX also has a concerning record with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
At the time of checking, the company had an F rating, with 22 complaints recorded over the previous 12 months. The BBB also reported that ReliveX had failed to respond to 20 complaints.
That is a serious concern. A company will not always be able to satisfy every customer, and disagreements over returns can happen. But when so many complaints are left unanswered, it raises questions about how seriously the business takes customer problems.
I would be especially concerned about this if I were considering buying from ReliveX. It is one thing for a product to disappoint someone. It is another thing for the seller to make it difficult for that person to resolve a billing or refund issue.
Does the ReliveX Device Actually Work?
This is a separate question from whether the company can be trusted.
Some customers appear happy with the device, while others have complaints about their overall buying experience. I would not claim that the device is completely useless based only on the billing and refund reports. Those complaints do not prove that nobody gets any benefit from using it.
At the same time, I would not accept every pain relief claim in the company’s advertising without proper evidence. A device being described as wireless, convenient or easy to use does not automatically mean it can provide meaningful relief for every type of pain.
There is also a difference between a product being comfortable to use and being proven to treat an underlying medical problem. Anyone considering it should look carefully at what the device is actually designed to do rather than relying on broad promises.
The bigger issue here is that buyers should not have to take a financial risk just to find out whether a product works for them.
Is ReliveX a Scam?
I would not say that every ReliveX purchase is a scam or that the device itself is fake. There are positive reviews, and some buyers appear to be satisfied with what they received.
However, the complaints about unexpected recurring charges, difficulty cancelling orders and refund problems are serious enough to make me question the company’s business practices. The BBB’s F rating and the large number of unanswered complaints make the situation even more concerning.
What bothers me most is that these are problems that should be easy for a responsible seller to handle. Customers should know whether they are signing up for repeat deliveries, and they should not have to keep fighting to stop charges or get a refund.
My advice is to avoid ReliveX. There are too many complaints about the way the company handles payments and customer service for me to feel comfortable recommending it. Even if the device helps some people, that does not excuse the problems buyers have reported.
If you have already ordered, check your payment statements carefully. Look for any charges relating to replacement gel pads or recurring orders that you did not knowingly approve. If you find a payment you did not authorise, contact your bank or card provider and ask about disputing it.
I would treat ReliveX as a high-risk purchase and stay away. The customer complaints, poor BBB record and reported refund difficulties are enough to make me question whether buying from this company is worth the trouble.
