Was the finished mascara tested by a dermatologist? Was it reviewed for a specific purpose? Was the claim based on a particular testing process?
There is a big difference between a product being “dermatologist approved” in an advertisement and having detailed, independently verifiable clinical evidence behind a particular benefit.
So I wouldn’t use that statement alone as the reason to buy the mascara.

Interestingly, the Trustpilot reviews for Kehyla Beauty are mostly positive, which is something I noticed when looking into the brand. That’s worth mentioning because it gives potential buyers somewhere outside the product page itself to see what customers are saying.
The reviews aren’t all identical, either. One customer said the mascara went on easily and stayed put, which is pretty close to my own experience. The same reviewer mentioned that they expected the color to be more purple but found it was actually more of a plum shade.

For me, the answer is yes, if you’re buying it as a mascara and not as a lash-growth treatment.
I liked how easily it went on, and I was happy with the staying power. The plum shade wasn’t exactly what I expected, but I still liked the color.
The main downside I noticed was the delivery time, which took longer than I would have liked.
I also think shoppers should be realistic about what the product can do. No matter how impressive the advertising sounds, mascara is still a cosmetic. It can coat, darken, define and visually enhance your lashes, but that doesn’t mean your natural lashes are suddenly growing longer underneath it.
What I Think
After trying Kehyla Beauty Mascara, I’d say my experience was better than I expected.
The application was easy, my lashes looked fuller and more defined, and the mascara stayed put well throughout the day. I also liked the fact that there are several shades available, although the color I received was more plum than the purple shade I was expecting.

My biggest piece of advice is to keep the marketing claims in perspective.
